This offline-mode setup guide for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake from Ubisoft Connect will help you keep account working properly. Even if the password is changed on the account you purchased, you will still be able to play offline.

- Disable Windows Updates. If you have Windows 10 disable updates using this instructions

- Open the root of the folder Ubisoft Game Launcher and copy the files DG_UplayActivator.exe, PoP_Offline.exe, Uplay Online.exe and Uplay Backup PoP.bat (The link to the files will be issued after the purchase of the product).
- the default location for the Ubisoft Game Launcher folder is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher". It may differ for you.
- Run DG_UplayActivator.exe and enter the received activation code.
- Press "Enter username and password" and wait until the activator enters account data in the Ubisoft Connect client.
If the account data is entered incorrectly
Most likely the problem is related to the scale of the desktop. Example of the problem in the screenshot below.
To resolve the issue, go to Windows Settings. On the "Display" tab, change the "Scale and Layout" to 100% and re-activate. After successful activation, you can return everything to its previous state.
- Click on the logo with the game. Under the button "Download" press "Locate installed game" and indicate the previously downloaded folder with the game.
- After loading the game files, launch Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake and immediately exit it after loading the game menu (In case of problems with launch, check the game files).
If the game requires you to install updates, install. The game will not start without the latest updates.
If there is a problem with updating the game
If you downloaded the game through third-party resources, for example from a torrent tracker, then you need to remove the game from the torrent distribution or remove it from the list of downloads.
If there is a problem with running the game
Games with Denuvo protection have daily restrictions on running the game in online mode. If you encounter a problem like in the screenshot below, then wait 30 minutes and restart the games. If it fails, wait another 30 minutes, try again, and so on. If the problem persists for a long time (12 hours), write to the seller in the correspondence of the purchased product for help.
How do I change the language of the game?
Click on the game logo, click
"Properties" under the logo and select the desired language from the list of available ones.
- Go to the settings Ubisoft Connect/Network and check the boxes next to the items "Do not send crash reports" as in the screenshot.
- Press "Go offline" as shown in the screenshot
- Launch Uplay Backup PoP.bat (The file will automatically make a copy of the offline client settings).
This step is required! If on further runs PoP_Offline.exe account authorization fails, so you did not complete this item or completed it in the wrong sequence.
